Chef Luigi appears on RAI’s Linea Verde Program

In June 2018, Chef Luigi Diotaiuti was featured on Linea Verde, one of the national Italian television’s (RAI) most popular programs to discuss his Sirino in Transumanza initiative. He created the “Sirino in Transumanza” project to protect and promote the transumanza while showcasing all of the cultural and culinary treasures that his home region of Basilicata (known as Lucania in antiquity) has to share as well. Already in its fifth edition, “Sirino in Transumanza” is a project which continues to grow in content, visibility, reach,and attendance each year. Its mission is to share the rich history of Basilicata while demonstrating how the local culture developed its daily living arts through sustainable methods which are perfectly suited for future generations.
