This Italian newspaper article shares the highlights of Chef Luigi Diotaiuti’s annual Transumanza event in Basilicata. It discussed the award that he was given for upholding ancient agricultural traditions in the region as well as its significance at World Expo 2015 in Milan. He was awarded the “Podolico Horn” from he Podolico breed of cow – native to the region. This award was recently adopted by Basilicata to present to citizens of international fame who contribute to the local culture.
